Estrada Palma, delegate-at-large of the Republic of Cuba in arms and later first president of the Cuban Republic, relates to General General José María Aguirre y Valdés the news of the delivery of arms and munitions to various points in Cuba. General Aguirre was Head of the Havana Division of the Cuban Liberation Army.
